PLEASE NOTE
Body impressions are normal and will occur on all mattresses
Use a matching foundation built to provide proper support and durability. Putting a new mattress on an old box spring has two drawbacks:
- The feeling you bought in the store won’t be there when you get it home
- Your new mattress will probably sag or wear sooner. Therefore, your bed won’t perform as well, and influencing the life of mattress
- Your new Mattress is not fire-Proof
DO'S and DON'TS OF BEDDING CARE
- Do carry your mattress flat and upright on its side. It is easier to handle and less likely to damage the mattress. If you need to store your mattress for an extended period, please store it flat
- Do let your new sleep set “air” upon removal from its plastic packaging. If you keep the plastic wrapping on your mattress please ensure that a child or a pet cannot become entangled and suffocate
- Do promptly dispose of old mattresses to avoid a fire hazard
Do use an appropriate sturdy fully supportive frame or bed-base to ensure validation of your warranty - Do rotate your mattress frequently to promote even wear, every 2 weeks in the first three months and every 2 months thereafter
- Do keep your bedding clean and use a water proof mattress protector. Stains, soiling, fluid penetration or other signs of abuse may void the warranty and make your bedding ineligible for repair or replacement
- Do protect from direct sunlight
- Do vacuum regularly using low suction
- Do treat spills and stains as soon as possible by patting with a damp Do ensure that your bedroom and bed are regularly aired
- Do keep heaters or other flammable items away from your bed
- Do follow the manufacturer’s instructions and warnings on the mattress tag
- Don't bend the mattress
- Don't allow anyone to jump on the bed
- Don't use cleaning fluids on your mattress. The chemicals may damage some of the materials.
Don't allow your mattress to get wet. Any liquids, water or other fluids may damage upholstery causing materials to compress - Don't saturate fabric with water or cleaning liquid
- Don't use dishwashing or laundry detergent
- Don't scrub with a stiff brush
- Don't lift your mattress by the handles (if included). Handles are designed to position the mattress only
- Don't smoke or use candles on or around your bed. This is a common cause of fatal fires
- Don't run electrical cords under your bed or trap them against a wall. Avoid placing lamps or heaters where they can fall on the bed
- Don't throw out your store receipts or warranty card as this has the identification needed to establish your warranty rights
To facilitate any future customer service or warranty inquiries, please keep all Care Tags on your bedding and the sales receipt

Lacquered, Oiled and/or Waxed Timber Furniture
To maintain your furniture in its original new condition we recommend that you keep to the following simple rules:
- Use heat resistant place mats for hot beverages and food. (Lacquers are not heat proof)
- If you can hold it in your hand it's safe to put on the lacquered surface
- Mop up any spills with a damp cloth as soon as practicable to prevent possible impairment of the finish
- Dust with a damp soft cloth
- If your timber surface has light scratches or gouges in it, we recommend the use of a Touch Up Pen and/or Maxwax to disguise the scratch (available HERE)
- For major damage, please consult a furniture restoration specialist
We recommend:
We recommend that you use ‘Maxwax' when the timber loses its “glow” and appears dull
Maxwax is a unique blend of food grade waxes taken up in a mild non-aromatic solvent. The formulation is specifically designed to penetrate porous surfaces (such as wood), whilst leaving a thin wax film on the surface. This not only nourishes the wood like an oil, but also leaves a wax lustre to the surface which can be buffed up to a healthy sheen.
Furniture in hot or sunny environments or in extremes of temperature or humidity will require more care.
- We recommend that you use ‘Maxwax' * to enhance it's appearance
- We recommend that you do not use furniture polishes that contain Silicone as contamination may occur resulting in difficult repair methods
- By adhering to these recommendations the durability of the finish of your furniture will be enhanced
- Fluctuating temperatures can stress timber furniture and cause splitting
- If you have a humid environment check for mould from time to time and clean off to avoid the spoors from developing

Painted Fibreboard and Foil Veneer Furniture
Mop up liquid spills as soon as they occur as joins and unsealed ends are ideal spots for water to be absorbed into the timber which leads to delamination of the paint and foil veneer.
The surface may be wiped with clean soapy water or proprietary cleaners such as ‘Handy Andy' or ‘Multi' can be used, however do not leave concentrated amounts of these cleaners on the surface for extended periods.
Abrasive cleaners are not recommended as these will wear into the surface and leave a mark.
Do not use strong solvents. Methylated spirits may be used with discretion, however, as a general rule it is best to assume solvents and painted or foil veneer surfaces do not mix.
Do not use sharp objects on the surface. As the paint or foil veneer is only a thin film of resin over the fibreboard, your furniture is not intended to withstand use as a craft cutting board!
