Packaging and Delivery

We use reliable New Zealand removal contracting companies to do this for you. We can quote a price depending on the size and quantity of goods supplied and can service most locations in New Zealand.

 

Freighting Furniture

We contract large reliable New Zealand freight companies who have regular runs to all the main centres in New Zealand.   Depending on your distance from our main Palmerston North warehouse your furniture should arrive within 1 to 2 weeks in the North Island and 1 – 3 weeks in the South Island.   Very isolated locations cannot always be serviced, and we may need to arrange delivery to your nearest main centre.  We will advise which carrier we are using for your job, as well as your job number and the carriers contact details so that you can track your delivery.
 

Courier

We use Aramex Couriers for this service.  They have good coverage throughout New Zealand, though some rural locations may not be serviced.   We will advise your tracking information and how you can access that.
 
Transit, Handling & Order Cut-Off Time:

Transit time is (5-10) Business Days (Monday to Friday).
Handling time is (2-5) Business Days (Monday to Friday)
Order cut-off time will be 5:00 PM (GMT+12:00) New Zealand Standard Time (Palmerston North).

Shipping Cost

We charge shipping as per the destination and the weight of the item. We also offer free shipping on selected products.

Change Of Address

We cannot change the delivery address once it is in transit. If you need to change the place to deliver your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at info@furnituretree.co.nz or Phone: +64 6358 3635

Order Tracking System

When we start your transfer, you'll get a chasing number with your order, with which you can learn about your order post position until you get your order in your hands.

Wrong Address

Remember, if you give us the wrong address and you are not there, the product will be stored in our store again. You will have to bear the full shipping cost for giving the wrong address.

Cancellations

If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.


Packaging


Furniture items are sent on furniture trucks.   This means that they are packed into the trucks wrapped in furniture blankets or boxed for protection.   They are sent from our stores in good condition.   It is imperative that the goods are checked by the customer on receipt before signing the delivery docket.   Once the docket is signed there can be no claim made on the carrier for damage.
