These are basic guidelines to the care and well-being of your new bed or mattress, which if followed will enhance the life and quality of your new bed or mattress.

Body impressions are normal and will occur on all mattresses

Use a matching foundation built to provide proper support and durability.   Putting a new mattress on an old box spring has two drawbacks:

  • The feeling you bought in the store won’t be there when you get it home
  • Your new mattress will probably sag or wear sooner.  Therefore, your bed won’t perform as well, and influencing the life of mattress
  • Your new Mattress is not fire-Proof


  • Do carry your mattress flat and upright on its side. It is easier to handle and less likely to damage the mattress. If you need to store your mattress for an extended period, please store it flat
  • Do let your new sleep set “air” upon removal from its plastic packaging. If you keep the plastic wrapping on your mattress please ensure that a child or a pet cannot become entangled and suffocate
  • Do promptly dispose of old mattresses to avoid a fire hazard
    Do use an appropriate sturdy fully supportive frame or bed-base to ensure validation of your warranty
  • Do rotate your mattress frequently to promote even wear, every 2 weeks in the first three months and every 2 months thereafter
  • Do keep your bedding clean and use a water proof mattress protector. Stains, soiling, fluid penetration or other signs of abuse may void the warranty and make your bedding ineligible for repair or replacement
  • Do protect from direct sunlight
  • Do vacuum regularly using low suction
  • Do treat spills and stains as soon as possible by patting with a damp Do ensure that your bedroom and bed are regularly aired
  • Do keep heaters or other flammable items away from your bed
  • Do follow the manufacturer’s instructions and warnings on the mattress tag
  • Don't bend the mattress
  • Don't allow anyone to jump on the bed
  • Don't use cleaning fluids on your mattress.  The chemicals may damage some of the materials.
    Don't allow your mattress to get wet. Any liquids, water or other fluids may damage upholstery causing materials to compress
  • Don't saturate fabric with water or cleaning liquid
  • Don't use dishwashing or laundry detergent
  • Don't scrub with a stiff brush
  • Don't lift your mattress by the handles (if included). Handles are designed to position the mattress only
  • Don't smoke or use candles on or around your bed. This is a common cause of fatal fires
  • Don't run electrical cords under your bed or trap them against a wall. Avoid placing lamps or heaters where they can fall on the bed
  • Don't throw out your store receipts or warranty card as this has the identification needed to establish your warranty rights

To facilitate any future customer service or warranty inquiries, please keep all Care Tags on your bedding and the sales receipt
