The Timber

Wood exhibits different grain patterns depending on the cut. For example, the 'medullary ray' seen in oak furniture signifies high-quality timber, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood. Wood veneers can create distinctive patterns on surfaces like tabletops and drawer fronts through the arrangement of thin slices.

Travertine

Travertine is a natural limestone formed by mineral springs, prized for its soft, earthy tones and subtle surface texture. Typically found in shades of cream, beige, and ivory, each piece carries unique markings and tonal variation, giving it a warm, organic character that’s hard to replicate. It pairs beautifully with timber, plays nicely with soft lighting, and adds a timeless, quietly luxurious feel to any space.
