Monstera Potted w/Pole 1.2m

At $299 and 1.2 metres tall, this is the largest and most expensive piece in Furniture Tree's faux plant range, a potted monstera built around a support pole rather than left to sit loose in the pot. The materials are listed as fabric, metal and plastic, which lines up with how it's built: fabric leaves for a soft, realistic look, a metal pole giving it height and structure, and a plastic pot at the base. The pole is the main thing that sets this apart from the smaller potted fern or the bare willow stems in the same range. Real monstera plants are often trained to climb a moss pole as they mature, and this piece copies that look, with the leaves arranged up and around the support rather than everything hanging loosely from a single stem. It's part of why it reads as a fuller, more established-looking plant than something like the potted fern. The listing gives the overall height as 120 cm but doesn't state the pot's diameter or footprint, so if you're placing it in a tight corner or a specific gap, it's worth checking with Furniture Tree what base width to plan for before you order. Being artificial, there's no watering, feeding or repotting involved, which matters more at this size than it would for a small tabletop plant, since a real monstera this tall would need regular care and decent light to keep its shape. This one holds its look regardless of how much natural light the room gets. An occasional dust of the leaves, or a wipe with a slightly damp cloth, should be enough to keep it looking fresh over time. The product page doesn't state an exact leaf colour, though monstera is generally associated with a deep green, glossy-leaf look, so it's worth checking the product photos if the exact shade matters to your room. At 1.2 metres, it suits a floor spot with a bit of presence, an empty living room corner, beside a sofa or armchair, an entryway, or a landing at the top of the stairs, rather than a shelf or tabletop. If you're building out a broader faux greenery look, Furniture Tree's Artificial Plants and Planters range also includes a smaller Potted Boston Fern (11 and $16) if you want variety in height and texture alongside this larger piece. The Monstera Potted w/Pole is $299, with Afterpay available as 4 interest-free payments of $74.75 for anyone eligible and over 18. Delivery charges depend on the product and delivery address. Furniture Tree offers delivery across New Zealand, including Auckland and South Auckland suburbs such as Wiri, Manukau and Manurewa, with delivery timeframes confirmed once your order is placed. Given the size and price of this one, it's probably worth seeing it in person before you commit, rather than relying only on photos. Furniture Tree has showrooms in Auckland and Palmerston North, and it's worth checking with the store first to confirm whether this particular piece is currently on display.
