Anders Bedside (Black Oak) (W57 D42 H50CM)

This is a shorter bedside than the Anders Bedside 3 Drawer sold elsewhere in the same range. At 50 cm high, 57 cm wide and 42 cm deep, it sits lower than the 3-drawer version's 67 cm height, and it's priced at $899 rather than $999. If you're comparing the two, it's worth checking which height suits your bed and headboard before ordering, since they're separate listings from the same Anders Collection. The colour here is a painted finish over solid oak and oak veneers, not a wood stain, and Furniture Tree describes it as a durable finish meant to last the life of the piece, the same treatment used on the taller Anders Bedside and the rest of the black oak pieces in this collection. The timber underneath is FSC-certified American white oak, built with engineered mitred joints at the corners rather than plain butt joints, which keeps the seams tighter and hides more of the end grain. The hardware is described as high-quality, and the bedside stands on metal legs finished with brass feet adjusters, useful for levelling it on a floor that isn't perfectly flat. The product page doesn't list the exact drawer or shelf configuration for this shorter bedside the way it does for the 3-drawer version, so if the internal layout matters to your decision, it's worth checking with Furniture Tree directly before ordering. It comes fully assembled, with the legs the only part you attach yourself. Tools are included, and separate instructions are supplied. If you'd rather not do even that, Furniture Tree can arrange assembly for an extra fee, sorted with them before you place your order. Being lower than the 3-drawer version, this bedside can work well next to a lower bed base or a bed with a low headboard, where a taller unit might look out of proportion or sit above the mattress line. It's also a reasonable option if you simply want less bulk beside the bed, without needing the extra storage height of the 3-drawer model. As with any bedside, it's worth measuring the gap next to your bed before ordering, especially if the base is wide or the room is tight. This bedside is also available in a natural oak finish, at the same size and price. It's part of the wider Anders Collection, which also includes the taller 3-drawer bedside ($999), a four-drawer tallboy ($1,999) and a six-drawer dresser ($2,299), all available in black oak or natural oak. The Anders Bedside in Black Oak is $899, with Afterpay available as 4 interest-free payments of $224.75 for anyone eligible and over 18. Delivery charges depend on the product and delivery address.
