Dried-Look Astilbe Spray 86cm Brown

This is the brown version of the Dried-Look Astilbe Spray also sold by Furniture Tree in cream, same 86 cm length and same $12 price, with the colour being the only stated difference between the two listings. As with that cream version, the page itself is light on detail beyond the name: no stem count, flower head count or material is listed. Brown arguably reads as the more literally "dried" of the two colourways, since real astilbe plumes often turn tan or brown as they age and dry out, whereas the cream version leans toward how the flower looks closer to fresh. If you're after an arrangement that looks properly dried and aged rather than a softer, pastel dried-style look, brown may be the closer match. Astilbe has a feathery, plume-like flower spike rather than a rounded bloom, which gives it a different texture in an arrangement compared with something like the pompon dahlia or banksia stems also sold by Furniture Tree. A "spray" generally means a single stem branching into multiple smaller flower heads, though the exact number on this particular stem isn't stated. That feathery texture is part of what makes astilbe a popular choice for filling out gaps between larger, more solid blooms in a mixed arrangement, rather than standing alone as the main feature. At 86 cm, it's on the longer side for the stems in this range, well beyond the 56 cm dahlia stems, so it suits a taller vase or the back of a mixed arrangement where you want height behind shorter stems. Being artificial, it should hold its colour and shape without watering or direct light being a concern, though the page doesn't give specific care instructions either way. If you're building a broader arrangement, this brown tone could work alongside the willow branches for a more muted, earthy palette, rather than the cream version, which sits closer to the pompon dahlia's tone. As with the cream astilbe, it's worth checking product photos closely, or asking Furniture Tree directly, for anything the page itself doesn't confirm. The Dried-Look Astilbe Spray in Brown is $12, with Afterpay available as 4 interest-free payments of $3.00 for anyone eligible and over 18. Delivery charges depend on the product and delivery address. Contact our team for a delivery quote. Furniture Tree offers delivery across New Zealand, including Auckland and South Auckland suburbs such as Wiri, Manukau and Manurewa, with delivery timeframes confirmed once your order is placed. As with the rest of the Artificial Plants and Planters range, the site's standard 3-year manufacturer's warranty banner appears on this page too, though what that would cover on a small decorative stem isn't clear, so it's worth asking the team directly rather than assuming. Furniture Tree has showrooms in Auckland and Palmerston North, and since the brown and cream versions can look quite different from each other depending on lighting, it's worth checking with the store, or asking on WhatsApp, if you want to compare the two shades in person before deciding between them.
