Elodie RT Hydrangea 47cm Burgundy

The "RT" in this product's title most likely stands for "Real Touch," a term used in floristry for faux flowers made with a soft, slightly rubbery petal texture designed to feel closer to a real bloom than stiff fabric petals do. That's not explicitly spelled out on the page itself, so it's worth treating as a likely reading rather than confirmed wording. What is clear is that this is a 47 cm hydrangea in burgundy, priced at $25. Hydrangea is known for its large, rounded flower head made up of many small clustered florets, giving it a fuller, more voluminous look than a single bloom like a dahlia or the spiky form of veronica or astilbe, both also sold by Furniture Tree in this range. Because of that large flower head, real hydrangea stems tend to be shorter and sturdier than a typical spray, which lines up with the 47 cm length here, noticeably shorter than most of the other stems in this collection. Burgundy is the same deep, wine-toned red used on the Wild Flower Spray also sold by Furniture Tree, so the two could work together in the same arrangement if you're after a consistent, richer colour palette rather than a soft neutral one. The page doesn't confirm how many flower heads are on this stem, though hydrangea is typically presented as one large bloom per stem rather than multiple smaller heads, or what the stem and petals are made from, so it's worth checking the photos closely or asking Furniture Tree directly if either detail matters to you. It also doesn't say whether "Elodie" refers to a wider product line available in other colours, so if you're after a specific shade beyond burgundy, that's worth checking with the team too. At 47 cm, this is one of the shorter stems in the range, closer to the wax flower bush (40 cm) than the longer astilbe or eucalyptus sprays (86 cm), so it suits a lower, wider vase rather than a tall one, or works as a lower accent in front of taller stems in a mixed arrangement. Being artificial, it should hold its shape and colour without watering or worrying about direct sunlight, though the page doesn't give specific care instructions. The Elodie RT Hydrangea in Burgundy is $25, with Afterpay available as 4 interest-free payments of $6.25 for anyone eligible and over 18. Delivery charges depend on the product and delivery address. Contact our team for a delivery quote. Furniture Tree offers delivery across New Zealand, including Auckland and South Auckland suburbs such as Wiri, Manukau and Manurewa, with delivery timeframes confirmed once your order is placed. As with the rest of the Artificial Plants and Planters range, the site's standard 3-year manufacturer's warranty banner appears on this page too, though what that would cover on a small decorative stem isn't clear, so it's worth asking the team directly rather than assuming. Furniture Tree has showrooms in Auckland and Palmerston North, and given the "Real Touch" style petals this stem likely has, it may be worth feeling the texture in person before ordering, particularly if that's part of why you're choosing it over a stiffer faux flower.
