EucalyptusPod Brown w/Green Leaves

As with several other listings in this collection, the page states "No product description available" beyond the title, and this is another one with no dimensions given at all, no length, no height, nothing beyond the name and price of $12. What the name does tell us is that this is a eucalyptus pod stem, combining brown pods with green leaves, which puts it in a different category to the Large Eucalyptus Spray also sold by Furniture Tree, which is a pure brown, dried-look stem with no leaves mentioned at all. Eucalyptus pods, often called gum nuts, are the hard, woody seed capsules the tree produces once its flowers have finished, and they turn a rich brown as they mature and dry out. In real floristry, gum nuts are popular for exactly that texture, a solid, slightly rounded, almost nut-like shape that reads as very different from a soft leaf or a flower, which is why they're often used to add structure and a bit of weight to an otherwise soft, leafy or flowery arrangement. The combination of brown pods with green leaves here suggests this stem is meant to look more like an actual branch cut fresh from the tree, rather than a fully dried, single-tone piece, which sets it apart from both the plain brown eucalyptus spray and the fully green potted eucalyptus also sold by Furniture Tree elsewhere in this range. It sits somewhere between the two, mixing the muted, woody brown of the pods with a touch of living green from the leaves. Because no length or height is given anywhere on the page, it's genuinely hard to say how this would sit in a vase or arrangement without seeing it in person or checking the photos closely. If sizing matters to your plans, particularly if you're trying to match it against the 86 cm eucalyptus spray or another stem you already have, it's worth confirming with Furniture Tree directly before ordering. In terms of styling, a stem like this tends to work as a textural accent rather than the main feature, tucked in among softer flowers like the wax flower bush or wild flower spray, or paired with the brown astilbe and willow branches for a more rustic, native-leaning palette. The woody pods in particular can help ground an arrangement that would otherwise be all soft flowers and foliage, giving it a bit more visual weight and structure. Being part of the Artificial Plants and Planters collection, it should hold its shape, colour and texture without any watering, light or humidity being a concern, which matters here in particular since real gum nuts and eucalyptus leaves both dry out and change colour naturally over time in a way this piece won't.
