Faux Poppy Seed Stem Dried Look

This is the least detailed listing in Furniture Tree's Artificial Plants and Planters range so far. All that's confirmed is the name, "Poppy Seed Stem Dried Look," and the price. Unlike every other stem in this collection, there's no length given in centimetres, and no colour or material is stated either. A poppy seed stem refers to the rounded seed pod left behind after a poppy flower's petals drop, rather than the flower itself. These pods have a distinctive dome or urn shape with a textured, ridged top, and they're a popular choice in dried arrangements because they hold their shape well and add a different, more sculptural texture than a soft petal or leaf would. Real dried poppy pods are usually a muted grey-brown or tan, which is likely the general tone this "dried look" version is going for, though that's not stated outright on the page. Real poppy stems also often carry multiple pods along one stem rather than a single pod on its own, though again, the exact structure of this particular product isn't confirmed. Because no length is given, it's genuinely difficult to say how this would sit in a vase or arrangement without seeing the actual product photos closely, or checking with Furniture Tree directly. If you're building an arrangement around other stems in this range, like the veronica or wild flower sprays that do list a length, it's worth confirming this one's size before ordering so everything sits at a sensible height together. This is one of the more noticeable gaps in the product data across this collection, worth flagging to the team so the listing can be brought up to the same standard as the rest of the range. Being artificial, and styled to look dried rather than fresh, it should hold its shape and muted colouring without any watering or light requirements, in the same way the astilbe and eucalyptus sprays in this range do. At $5, it's the cheapest single stem in Furniture Tree's Artificial Plants and Planters collection, so it works well as a low-cost way to add texture to an arrangement, whether that's alongside the dried-look astilbe and eucalyptus sprays for a coordinated muted palette, or mixed with brighter stems like the wax flower bush or wild flower spray for contrast. The Poppy Seed Stem Dried Look is $5, with Afterpay available as 4 interest-free payments of $1.25 for anyone eligible and over 18. Delivery charges depend on the product and delivery address. Contact our team for a delivery quote. Furniture Tree offers delivery across New Zealand, including Auckland and South Auckland suburbs such as Wiri, Manukau and Manurewa, with delivery timeframes confirmed once your order is placed. As with the rest of this collection, the site's standard 3-year manufacturer's warranty banner appears on this page too, though what that would meaningfully cover on a $5 decorative stem isn't clear, so it's worth asking the team directly rather than assuming. Furniture Tree has showrooms in Auckland and Palmerston North, and given how little the page confirms about this particular stem, it's worth checking with the store, or asking on WhatsApp, for the actual size and colour before ordering.
